Simon Blacklock: Director of Faber Factory
I was one of the founders of Faber Factory in way distant 2010 which in the digital age seems prehistoric. Having worked as a bookseller before that, giving readers good books to read has always been my mission. In the digital age it just got more interesting.
Sian Gibson: Account Manager
Having worked in a variety of sales and marketing roles in publishing over the last decade I joined the Faber Factory team in early 2016. I look after the promotional side of things here, so I liaise with retailers about forthcoming titles, promotions and the merchandising of our publishers’ books.
Matt Howard: Account Executive
I came to publishing via studying English at Edinburgh, working as copywriter, losing the will to live when writing about dishwashers and enrolling in the Oxford Brookes Publishing MA. At the time of my course I began interning at Faber and Faber and followed through by becoming an Account Executive in August 2015. Essentially I spend my time looking after publishers on our list, managing their ebooks from the first stage of acquiring a conversion quote, through metadata uploads to distribution.
