Back in 2001, Ware won the Guardian’s first book award for Jimmy Corrigan: The Smartest Kid on Earth. His work has appeared in a number of publications, including the New York Times.His most recent book, the acclaimed graphic novel Building Stories, follows the lives of the inhabitants of a building in Chicago: the landlady on the ground floor, the young woman living in the first floor flat and the woman living at the top of the building.
